Belimo’s Salvatore Cataldi Appointed to BACnet International Board of Directors

BACnet International announced the appointment of Salvatore Cataldi, Senior Product Lead of Belimo, to its Board of Directors. With a distinguished career dedicated to advancing Building Automation Systems (BAS) and a strong focus on integrating BACnet standards, Cataldi's expertise is poised to make a significant contribution to the organization's mission.


Salvatore Cataldi has been with Belimo since 2018 and leads multiple initiatives within the company on conceptualizing the Belimo Digital Ecosystem. Beyond Belimo, he assumes leadership roles in various digital standardization committees, advocating for interoperability and the adoption of standardized protocols to enhance building automation and control systems. He consistently showcases his dedication to advancing the industry through collaborative endeavors and innovative solutions.

Cataldi's career began in 2004, initially specializing in software design for distributed automation systems. Since then, he has dedicated himself to integrated Building Automation Systems, with a particular focus on designing and developing BAS and protocol gateways aimed at seamlessly integrating proprietary systems into BACnet standard systems. His expert knowledge has supported numerous control system manufacturers in designing innovative solutions.
